honeymoon ;)

anyone who knows me well, knows i love taking pictures and doing little projects with them.

i've always had a passion for capturing special and fun moments.

and hope to someday do something big with that passion. we'll see!

breakfast of champions

i had a great start to my day off.

i made us a healthy breakfast (something pretty rare for this chocolate chip pancake and crepes drowned in powdered sugar lover).

i made scrambled eggs, toast with raspberry jam, and a smoothie with real fruit and non-fat yogurt.

this is the healthiest start i've had in a long time!

it gave me the surge of energy to wash all the dishes, clean up around the house, fold laundry, and make the bed all before noon.

i think there's something to this eating healthy thing..

here's to finishing off the day the same way! :)

home sweet home

i spent all last week in the wonderful state of arizona... withOUT will.

it was the longest we've ever been apart, and the only time 
we have since we got engaged.

i thought it would be a lot harder than it was (don't take that the wrong way) but i kept busy catching up with my friends, lots of swimming, was in a wedding, and helped my mom with my sister in law's baby shower. i had sooo much fun!

towards the end of the week, i was ready to go home. 

HOME. that's right.. utah feels like home now. that's a big step for me.

i love everything and everyone that moving to utah 
has brought into my life. 

i love the 4 seasons here, even the snowy winter. 

i love our cute little apartment and the way we've decorated it. 

i love that we have choices in which temple we are going to do a session in, so many close to us! 

i love my in-laws and will's extended family that are now mine too. 

i love his best friends and the super cute girls they're all married to or marrying next month (will is a "best man" in 3 weddings in one week!). 

i love the people i work with that take the time to teach me tips and tricks to make me a better teacher and make me laugh 
and smile so much. 

i love how successful will has made his business up here. 

and i could go on and on.. 

but basically, mesa will always hold a special place in my heart but salt lake will be the perfect place to raise our family. 

i'm excited to see what the future holds here!

reasons why tuesdays rock!

every one has their favorite day of the week.. usually it's the weekend of course. which mine is too.. but today was an exceptionally awesome day, so i felt like it deserved a blog post.

reasons why tuesdays rock!

#1- my work week starts on tuesday. and my new part-time job is the bomb! i love teaching these sweet, funny kids to swim and be safe in the water. this summer is going to be so much fun!

#2- it's "discount tuesday" at Century 16 theatre, so it's matinee pricing all day and night long! tonight's movie of choice was The Lucky One. me and my friend Bailee saw it while our boys did boy stuff.

#3- if you ever have to take a CPR class and want laugh your head off the whole time, go to Murray Fire Department on the second tuesday of the month. you WON'T be disappointed! the best teachers, hands down.

pretty little thing called love

3 things i'm loving about Willy today:

1. when he came home from working all day and warned me that he smells. i couldn't help but give him a big hug and kiss. my man knows how to work hard, and it's mighty attractive! and his stinky-ness ain't that bad either.. :]

2. he joined in my craziness to eat a whole batch of no-bake cookies after dinner then made a music video with me during our sugar buzz. we're WILD!

3. his spontaneous idea to go to the midnight showing of Avengers tonight with another couple. so excited for this movie!
