life with the Betenson's

it's been a little while since my last post..

but boy have we been enjoying our summer!

i'm not sure where to start,

food lately

we are eating pretty healthy over here lately, and for a sweets-aholic i'm proud to say i've been saying "no thank you" a lot more to the junk i normally just throw in the shopping cart. will has a lot more self control than me though.. maybe someday i'll be as perfect as him! ;)

here are a couple of the better things (if i do say so myself) i've 

cooked lately:

chicken parmesan 

pizza boats (whole wheat subs, real tomatoes, spinach, and low-fat cheese.. can't get much healthier than that!)

and in other news, my parents are in town!

we've been having lots of fun the past few days with them 

and my brother's family.

 and we got to see this little cutie get blessed on sunday!

another nephew to love and hold, such a sweet guy!
