it's no secret that we love our dogs. let's be honest though, 

when you hear a thud in your bathroom and walk in to this how can you not?

for family night this week, we carved a pumpkin. probably alittle too early... 

because it's teeth have shrunk to almost nothing and the rest of the face is sinking in. oh well.

this is the 4th year we've been carving buddies! and even though he doesn't enjoy scooping the slimy seeds out like i do, i do love watching him making this face each year: 

we threw an early halloween party at our house for our close friends last night.

it was loads of fun! so many great costumes, yummy snacks, and fun games.

we're so glad for everyone who came and made it such a blast!

OREGON

last week was my fall break at school so we decided to take a road trip to oregon.

the drive was long but SO worth it. it is seriously one of the most beautiful places i've ever been!

there was so much color and it felt like a big city in the middle of the woods.

we spent friday driving along the coast and exploring a couple of cities. 

we tried some delicious seafood at Mo's and had yummy dessert along the way too.

saturday we spent the day in Eugene shopping and getting pumped for the game with the college kids.

the oregon ducks (college football) is will's new favorite team and mostly the reason why we went.

those fans are so crazy about their team! it was the loudest, most full stadium i've ever been to.

it was so much fun to cheer them on through a good game and see them win.

 

 

we're going to live in oregon someday, just wait and see.  ;)
